Our partners, partner organisations and the competent authorities
MVM Paks Nuclear Power Plant Ltd. is striving for the development and maintenance of broad relations with both the town and the adjacent settlements, and with different national and international professional organisations, associations and authorities. Our common interests are based on mutual cooperation and information exchange.
TEIT
Construction of the nuclear power plant turned out to be the major investment project in the 1980s in Hungary. In order to facilitate a successful dialogue, it was absolutely necessary to create such a social organisation that would efficiently reflect and represent the real demands and interests of the population in the region. Upon the initiative of the nuclear power plant and in line with the above aim, on 30 June 1992 the Association of Social Inspection and Information (TEIT) was established by 13 municipalities of the settlements located in the vicinity of the plant.
Municipalities involved in TEIT:
Kalocsa, Bátya, Dunaszentgyörgy, Gerjen, Foktő, Paks, Géderlak, Tengelic, Uszód, Pusztahencse, Ordas, Fadd, Dunaszentbenedek.
